Bethany Hamilton’s Hawaii Elite Surf Camp:
For Up and Comer Surfer girls from Hawaii ages 14 to 15

Objective: To empower Hawaii’s next generation of female Professional Surfers to be the best surfers they can be as well as outstanding role models to others.

Description: This camp on Oahu’s North Shore was designed for elite, up-and-coming
surfer girls in the state of Hawaii. It focused on honing important skills
in surfing, as well as learning the ins and outs of a professional surfing
career. Bethany and her friends shared stories of how God
has brought them through struggles in the surf industry, as well as
challenges that may come to a young aspiring pro-surfer. This camp is unique, in that Friends of Bethany’s seeks to build lasting mentorship relationships with the young women who attend. We intend to be a resource and an encouragement to these girls as they grow in their personal life, in their career, and as a surfer in general. This camp will inspire girls to be their best in all areas of life, and in doing so, will also empower and inspire them to be positive role models for the generation of surfer girls after them.
