On behalf of our family we would like to thank you soooooo much for the care package you sent to our daughter Caroline! she is truly inspired by Bethany and was so excited to receive the envelope in the mail! Our family watched the DVD of Bethany together and we are absolutely amazed and grateful for all that she does! She truly is blessed and has an amazing spirit! We feel blessed to have her as an inspiration for our daughter who was born with only one hand! I believe God has Graced us with our beautiful daughter so that she may go out and be an inspiration to others as Bethany has inspired so many... Surviving a major event like this is pretty darn tough. Trying to describe in words how it felt to receive so much love is just as tough... Thank you for backing me up and encouraging me to get strong, break out and take off...back into my LIFE! Additionally, thanks for sending out a DIY Surf Handle packet. I look forward to installing it and taking a paddle. I have found solid motivation & support from watching your many YouTube videos, so cheers for posting them... Thanks, Eduardo

breanna smith - hey bethany my name is breanna smith and i am 12 years old and i am a lover and follower of god. i was wondering if you cold look at my last 2 pics on instagram because today i was having breathing problems and had to have x rays done and spent the whole day in the docters office. i couldnt go to school today because i felt like i couldnt breath and it would make my day if you could give me a follow and maybe like 1 or 2 of my pics. btw love the posters

caroline - i’m from Houston, but i dont live in America anymore, but 7 months ago i did and i went to a school called Second Baptist. In my bible class we had to choose 3 pictures and 3 bible verses 2 go with the pictures. 2 out of 3 were of you and one of them was the picture of you surfing with only one arm. the bible verse i did with that picture was:
“I can do all things through Him who strengthens me.

since im not in America or with my friends things get hard for me, and when they do i think back to that project and Philippians 4:13 and how true it is. Bethany, u r such an inspirational person i look up to u. I’m only 12 and i had to leave my hometown, sometimes i feel bad for myself, but when i do i think “Bethany Hamilton didnt feel bad for herself and she lost an arm!!! Instead she used the accident as a way to share God’s love and care!” and thats exactly what im trying 2 do. Thankyou for everything Bethany Hamilton, good luck in ur surfing competitions even though u dont need it.

Emily Burke - Aloha Bethany i have this idea if you have an iphone and you no how to work facetime we can try to do it. i have an ipod and me and my cousen phoebe no how to do it and i thouht because you have an spired me to say when things are raf never give up.and you said follow your dreams and you can do enthing and that means a lot to me so writ back about facetime.

No soy surfista aun estoy estudiando con unos amigos surfistas el grupo Christian Surfers Argentina y realmente mi pasión es el surf es algo impresionante ademas de ser una gran creacion de nuestro dios.
